ASA Corp provides this Privacy Statement to make you aware of our privacy practices and the choices you can make about how your personal information is collected and used, both on-line and off-line. This statement can always be accessed through the Legal Information link on the bottom of every web page.
Our web site is set up so that you can visit it without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. What information we collect
During the course of your relationship with ASA, we may collect personal information to enable you to order products or services, download software, or perform other actions or requests. Who we share information with
ASA’s Distributors, representatives, rental partners, and other business partners may have access to your personal information in connection with your customer relationship with ASA. Business partners may for example use the information to fulfill ASA’s requirements for such things as processing credit card purchases and shipping goods to customers. Additionally, ASA may from time to time share your personal information with third parties for the purpose of providing you with information on related products. However, ASA may disclose your personal information (i) if we are required to do so by law (e.g. to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or government inquiry); or (ii) if we believe that it is necessary to protect and defend the rights of ASA Corp.
Like most standard Web sites, we use log files to automatically log information such as internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. We log this information to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. For areas of our site that require registration, we log the user's email address and specific information concerning the user's activity on the site. This information may be tied to the user's other personal information and, if so, it is used to support the user's professional relationship with ASA.
